IP 67 - "IP-STOP" - (FOR PG HOLE)

Features: these cable glands exert a discreet anti-traction seal and, above all, ensure an IP 67 seal both on the 2 holes of the cable gland itself and on the wall mounting hole. They have a conical shape whose cone is blocked by a thin membrane. For correct installation, the cable glands must be mounted in the wall hole in the direction of the cone, but, depending on the application, they can be mounted on both sides of the wall so that the cone or the flat base can be seen externally. . Subsequently, the cable is introduced from the side with the open hole and pushed until the membrane breaks and comes out of the cone; finally, the cable must be pulled in the opposite direction by approx. 1 cm. No tools are needed. They are made of EPDM which offers good resistance to atmospheric agents and diluted acids and excellent resistance to UV rays and ozone. Since EPDM is a soft material, these cable glands are the ideal solution for curved surfaces. Please note that these grommets also contain sulfur particles which could potentially have a negative effect on the LEDs.
On request: for quantity, they can be supplied in Chloroprene (black color only), which is a rubber containing halogens, generally more resistant than EPDM and with better resistance to aging. Chloroprene is indicated for the nautical and offshore sector and complies with the DNV (Det Norske Veritas) regulation.
IP protection: IP 67 according to EN 60529 specifications.
