Material: caps in polyamide 6, oleophobic/hydrophobic membrane in acrylic copolymer, O-Ring in NBR.
Color: light gray Ral 7035, dark gray Ral 7001, black Ral 9005.
Use temperature: -40°C / +100°C (with peaks of -45°C / +150°C)
IP protection: IP 67 / IP 68 (pressione di penetrazione dell’acqua = 0,1/1,45 bar/psi).
Flammability: flame retardant and self-extinguishing UL94-V2.
Features: snap-fit caps characterized by lateral micro-holes to allow ventilation and heat dissipation. They are internally equipped with a special oleophobic/hydrophobic membrane resistant to bases and to many organic chemical agents; it guarantees an effective pressure balance, prevents the formation of humidity and condensation and limits the unwanted temperature increase inside the equipment on which these plugs are mounted. Consequently, the equipment is better protected from the risk of corrosion and thus its duration is extended. As you can see in the table, there are 2 types of caps which differ in shape and size. The air flow is measured with a differential pressure of 70 mbar/1 psi. Complete with flat section O-Ring gasket. We suggest making a mounting hole as per our instructions in order not to deform the coupling and to obtain IP 67/68 protection.
