METAL THREADED PLUGS WITH MEMBRANE FOR PRESSURE BALANCING - "EZ" SERIES (METRIC THREAD)

Material: caps in aluminum or stainless steel (DIN EN 1.4305 / AISI 303), oleophobic / hydrophobic membrane in acrylic copolymer, O-Ring in NBR.
Use temperature: -20°C / +100°C (with peaks of -30°C / +150°C)
IP protection: IP 67 / IP 68 (water penetration pressure = 0.1 / 1.45 bar / psi).
Features: caps characterized by micro-openings to allow ventilation and heat dissipation. They are internally equipped with a special oleophobic / hydrophobic membrane resistant to bases and many organic chemical agents; it guarantees an effective pressure balance, prevents the formation of humidity and condensation and limits the unwanted temperature increase inside the equipment on which these plugs are mounted. Consequently, the equipment is better protected from the risk of corrosion and thus its duration is extended. As you can see in the table, there are 3 types of caps which differ in material, shape and size; the BD-MTC cap is equipped with a flat section O-Ring gasket and is supplied complete with lock nut. The air flow is measured with a differential pressure of 70 mbar / 1 psi. Some of these plugs are UL classified for applications type 1, 4, 4X (according to UL50E). Complete with O-Ring. With metric thread - EN 60423.
On request: the steel plugs can be produced in stainless steel DIN EN 1.4404/AISI 316L.
