FASTON FEMALE FULLY INSULATED - "ELPRESS" SERIES -
Material: faston in tin-plated brass with polycarbonate (PC) and polyamide (PA) insulation (see table); polycarbonate and polyamide are halogen-free.
Color: the color of the insulation varies according to the section of the conductor to be combined (see table).
Use temperature: max +100°C (PC), max +90°C (PA)
Flammability: flame-retardant and self-extinguishing UL94-V2 (PC), flame-retardant and self-extinguishing UL94-V0 (PA).
Features: these fastons are made of brass and electrolytically tinned to offer the maximum possible protection against corrosion. The faston collar is reinforced with an additional brass tube that allows a perfect crimping at any point around the collar. In addition, the additional tube offers greater mechanical strength and better electrical conductivity. The insulation has excellent deformation characteristics such as to prevent deterioration during the crimping operation and maintains its qualities unchanged even in the presence of high temperatures.
